As a child I often watched my grandma crochet beautiful items out of thin white thread. I learnt the basics of crochet from her almost 3 years back . It has had me hooked since then. I enjoy recreating beautiful patterns. ( The bag is made from a pattern my grandma had used on a table cloth. ) Crocheting motivated me leave work on time and reduced my stress levels . It also impressed my colleagues to learn that I knew to crochet. Some of them even took lessons from me…I have also had interesting conversations during long train journeys where people fondly remembered the days when they or their loved ones made crocheted stuff.
For the coat I used anchor mercerised knitting cotton thread and followed the instructions for Crochet flowers bolero shrug jacket
